6 Empty Chairs

Photogrief / Photogrief : Eleanor Haley

by Elisabeth Burgess

I took this picture at an outdoor sporting event for Veterans last spring. It seemed to perfectly represent that no matter where we go there will always be 6 empty chairs.

One for my stepson, Bryan

One for Frank

One for Ofren

One for Jeremy

One for Dustin

One for Jameson

They all lost their lives together in a battle in Afghanistan on March 29, 2011.
