When I was laid off from my previous position last August, the reason given was that I, "seemed distracted and unfocused on the job."

This photo attempts to show what I see and feel every single minute of every single day. It is a struggle to keep the grief from crushing me and I try my best to honor Bryan and his sacrifice.

If you know or work with someone who has experienced a devastating loss in their life, please know that they are struggling to keep putting one foot in front of the other, much less perform their job duties. This is our "new normal" and we thank you for your patience and understanding when we seem "distracted."
