Description

Through this training, participants will:

  • Gain a basic understanding of modern grief theory and modern trauma theory, with a specific focus on the intersection of these models.
  • Identify signs of traumatic grief reactions in contrast to normal grief responses, including a review of the controversial concept of “complicated grief”.
  • Learn appropriate direct and indirect interventions, as well as resources for appropriate referral.
