Support What’s Your Grief

If you would like to make a gift to What’s Your Grief, you may do so below.  Thank you for your support.

For WYG Supporters:

Instead of dedicating space to annoying ads on our sidebar, we have created a page where we will recognize all those who contribute (unless they ask to give anonymously). You can give in memory of someone you love; you can give anonymously; or you can just give from yourself because you’re awesome.  We appreciate every gift we receive, no matter how big or small, because every gift adds up to keep our site going.  If you can swing a gift of $50 or more, we will send you a thank you tote (see photos) so make sure you tell us which one you prefer in the order notes.

In the ‘Order Notes’ section during checkout (this is important!):

  1. please note either ‘anonymous‘, type your name as you would like it to appear on our website, or type ‘In memory of…’ and your loved one’s name written exactly as you would like it to appear on our website.
  2. If your donation is $50 or more, write either “quote bag” or “heart bag” to indicate which you prefer as your thank you gift from WYG.

About What’s Your Grief:

What’s Your Grief is a place where grievers can find help, solace, and understanding, free from worrying about cost or contending with the noise of the unrelenting outside world. We want readers to have the peace and quiet necessary to focus and be present with their thoughts and things that make money, like advertisers, sponsors, books, promotions, fine print, and fees just aren’t consistent with this.

We are extremely grateful to our readers who have always been our greatest resource. We don’t have a big budget, we work for free and whatever we earn goes back into the site. It hardly seems like it would be enough, yet your willingness to share, support, and engage had allowed us to grow.

What’s Your Grief is a valuable tool for those who have lost a loved one. It provides comforting counsel in simple, easy to read terms. It is an effective way to reach out to bereaved friends or family members when you don’t know what to say.

This site has been invaluable as I went through the grief process. I learned I was not alone in what I was feeling and experiencing. It helped me so incredibly much that words cannot even capture how grateful I am that such a web site exists.

WYG was one of the first spaces that I could listen, cry, laugh after losing our baby. The podcasts were so down to earth, the voices so real, the guidance so non- judgmental. I continue to use this as a top resource.

Thank you for your support and love. WYG has been very meaningful and helpful to me as I make my way after the death of my daughter, Allison McKay.
