We feel gratitude when these little hints pop up in everyday life causing us to take note. I captured this photo strolling through our neighborhood one evening with my husband. This single flower, standing tall and seemingly happy with itself despite the weight of concrete, reminds me how beauty and growth can spring from the hardscape of grief.
